Dr. Samuel Mayfield, D.C.


Dr. Samuel Mayfield is a twenty-year veteran of the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, Dr. Mayfield chose chiropractic as his second career, after having experienced its benefits first hand for injuries suffered while participating in a Special Operations airborne training exercise. Dr. Mayfield is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, one of the finest chiropractic colleges in the country. Dr. Mayfield’s professional interests include treating injuries suffered in car accidents, extremity injuries, nutrition, and a variety of spinal conditions.


Dr. Conrad Taylor, D.C., M.S.


Dr. Conrad Taylor attended Pennsylvania State University, where he was a 4-year letter winner in soccer. In his career, he played every minute for the Nittany Lions and helped them to win the Big Ten Conference Title in 2005. He was also awarded All-Conference First Team Honors in 2005 and 2006. Dr. Taylor was the recipient of the Ernest B. McCoy Award for Academic & Athletic Achievement in 2008; the award is given to one male and one female student athlete at Penn State every year. He also won the 2008 Big Ten Medal of Honor, described as one of the most prestigious conference awards in college athletics, and is given to one male and one female student-athlete from the graduating class of each Big Ten institution each year. Dr. Taylor was a 2-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America selection.

Dr. Taylor graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian from Logan College of Chiropractic where he graduated in 2011. In 2011 he also earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Dr. Taylor completed his Dry Needling Certification in 2016. Dr. Taylor’s professional interests include rehabilitation and extremity injuries, nutrition, wellness, and spinal conditions.


Dr. Ryan Knoll, D.C., Chiropractor


Dr. Ryan Knoll attended Kansas State University as a kinesiology/pre-chiropractic student. In 2011, Dr. Knoll was awarded a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and in 2012 earned a Bachelor of Life Science (BS) degree from Logan University College of Chiropractic on his way to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 2015.

Dr. Knoll completed his chiropractic internship at St. Peter’s Health Clinic in St. Peter’s, Missouri. His internship consisted of chiropractic evaluations and manipulation of musculoskeletal condition and radiology. He was a distinguished intern and selected to serve as a senior intern assistant.

Dr. Knoll is currently a member of the Chiropractic Association of Louisiana.

Dr. Knoll’s focus is a total body approach of healthcare. Dr. Knoll treats his patients with passive modalities, soft tissue techniques, chiropractic manipulation and active rehabilitation of the injured areas of the body. This treatment not only works to alleviate pain and increase mobility, but it also strengthens injured or damaged tissues to significantly decrease the likelihood of re-injury.


Kirsten Van Mol, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner


Kirsten Van Mol, APRN, FNP-C provides outstanding, integrated medical treatment to the Cenla community. She graduated with honors from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She holds her Master of Science in Nursing.

She is an inducted member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and has been published and recognized as a Worldwide Leader in Healthcare representing Louisiana through the International Nurses Association. Her past experience includes emergency medicine, urgent care practice, family practice and community health, all of which were served within the Cenla community.

Kirsten Van Mol wants to help patients reach their health goals through a practice of holistic, integrated medicine which includes treating each patient as a whole, to reach their optimal level of wellness. She specializes in trigger point injection therapy as well as targeted joint injections with a variety of injectable medicines.
